FDA Updates FAQs on Testing for SARS-CoV-2

COLA Inc. is engaged with the CDC’s Laboratory Outreach Communication System (LOCS) in the Division of Laboratory Systems (DLS) to transmit their public health messages to our laboratories and affiliates. 

On July 27, 2022 the CDC alerted laboratories that the FDA has updated its FAQs on Testing for SARs-CoV-2. According to the FDA no tests remain on the commercial manufacturer serology test notification list described in FDA’s Policy for Coronavirus Disease-2019 Tests. All tests previously on the commercial manufacturer serology test notification list have either been issued an Emergency Use Authorization (EUA) or should no longer be distributed, marketed, or offered.
