Increased Testing for SARS-CoV-2

COLA Inc. is engaged with the CDC’s Laboratory Outreach Communication System (LOCS) in the Division of Laboratory Systems (DLS) to transmit their public health messages to our laboratories and affiliates. You can find more details by clicking on the links below: 

On December 27, 2021, the CDC encouraged laboratories with testing capacity to contact state and local health departments to coordinate surge testing in response to the Omicron variant, including assisting with specimen collection and standing up drive through testing sites. The CDC has also asked laboratories who are experiencing supply chain issues to report those to the CDC at LOCS@cdc.gov.
