Guidance for Individuals Who Are Waiting for COVID-19 Test Results

CDC has developed guidance titled “Three Key Steps to Take While Waiting for Your COVID-19 Test Result.” CDC requests that testing facilities provide this guidance to individuals who have just been tested for SARS-CoV-2 (the virus that causes COVID-19).

 

CDC Offers Help with Performing Point-of-Care Tests for SARS-CoV-2

On December 10, 2020, CDC updated the Guidance for SARS-CoV-2 Point-of-Care Testing web page to include a new section titled “Help with Performing Point-of-Care Tests.” The new section features CDC educational materials, training resources from test manufacturers, and “Lessons Learned” documents designed to support healthcare providers who perform point-of-care testing for SARS-CoV-2.
