CDC Updates COVID-19 Laboratory Data Reporting Web Page

On Wednesday, November 25, 2020, CDC updated the “How to Report COVID-19 Laboratory Data” Web page to include COVID-19 resources for laboratories, as well as updates to the frequently asked questions (FAQs) on laboratory data reporting guidance for COVID-19 testing. The new FAQs provide additional clarification about where to report the required laboratory data.

FDA Issues EUA Amendment for CDC Influenza SARS-CoV-2 Multiplex Assay

On November 20, 2020, the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) granted an amendment to update the instructions for use (IFU) of the CDC Influenza SARS-CoV-2 (Flu SC2) Multiplex Assay with general clarifications.
