COLA is engaged with the CDC’s Laboratory Outreach Communication System (LOCS) in the Division of Laboratory Systems (DLS) to transmit their public health messages to our laboratories and affiliates. New COVID-19 Data Tracker Website for Laboratories

On Thursday, May 7, 2020, CDC published a new  COVID-19 Data Tracker website. The site consolidates laboratory test results data reported by laboratories in the United States, including public health, hospital, and commercial and reference laboratories.

CDC Posts Updated Point-of-Care Testing Biosafety Guidelines for COVID-19

CDC recently updated the Interim Laboratory Biosafety Guidelines for Handling and Processing Specimens Associated with Coronavirus Disease 2019 (COVID-19) to provide additional information about point-of-care (POC) testing for SARS-CoV-2.
